This dry rose is made from a grape native to the Trentino- Alto Adige region of northeast Italy called Rebo. The grape was named after the oenologist who created the grape by cross-breeding Merlot and Terroldego. This rose was made without any skin contact because the varietal has an extremely dark pigment and the juice is naturally pink without any skin contact. "Mavi" is the name of the owner's daughter. There were less than 300 cases made in 2021.
