2012 Stiglianese, Agricola Fontanelle, Tuscany, Italy
Winemaker Riccardo Rosati makes only a few hundred cases each year of this 100% Sangiovese from grapes grown on his estate in the rolling Tuscan hills just a few Kilometers east of Montepulciano. Aged in French oak for 15-18 months the nose on this wine is a true Tuscan wine adventure with deep red cherries and dried violets followed by hints of salty, clay-earth and tobacco. The flavors are authentic and rustic with dried red fruits, wild herbs and spice.
2019 Elysian Sauvignon Blanc, Santa Ynez, California
Sourced from several old vine Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley this 128 case production wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel (without oak) to preserve freshness and acidity. Aromas of white peaches, Jasmine flowers and grapefruit lead to a palate brimming with tropical fruit and ripe citrus with a crisp and clean style.
2016 Goldminer Syrah, El Dorado County, California
Grown on a single vineyard at an elevation of over 2,400 feet above sea level this micro production wine was made by Scott Johnson of Perry Creek winery.
