The “Valentiano” is the name of farm estate. It takes its origin from the joining of the names Valentina and Fabiano. Most of the estate is 400 m. above the sea level. The reddish soil is rich in iron and clay which perfectly drain it and together with the microclimate make it the perfect soil for the growing of vines. Sangiovese is the only vine they grow, and the winery is equipped with the most modern technologies in the enological field. Committed to sustainable production methods, Valentiano vineyards does not employ the use of pesticides or herbicides; for example, to control weeds, they simply use the proper tools that completely remove brushwood, and the soil is naturally manured. The crops are properly run thanks to Fabiano and Valentina, who is a trained biologist.
